From Trash to Treasure Upcycle & Nature Summer Art Camp

Full day students need to bring a lunch and water bottle.

Ages 5-teens with flexibility in projects to accommodate skill

Campers vary art activities with physical ones. In this Summer Art Camp, we will be looking at nature in a different way, drawing texture in trees, using what we see outside to inspire our art.

3-4 projects a day, mixed with outdoor time, games, indoor playroom activity in our Hideaway Room and with the Digital Playground.

Monday June 26th-

Clay-Mushroom Magical Village Luminaries

Recycled- Mosaic Art with chipboard

Cardboard relief- Wolf’s howl with cacti/Posca Pens

Tuesday June 27th-

Mixed Media- Amazing/weird faux bug taxidermy showpieces

Embossing- Metal Embossed Flowers, bugs, butterflies for outdoors

Dry Medium- Raised Bugs in oil pastel on leaf with black paper

Wednesday June 28th-

Mixed Media- Floating City Collage Wood/wire/cardboard

Beadwork- Beaded Fairy Garden Stakes

Watercolor- Night sky in a jar

Thursday June 29th-

Clay- Snails in shells (funky creative houses)

Painting- watercolor Geodes

Weaving- looms on branches

Before care $10 starts at 8am

After care $10 ends at 5:30pm
