Instructor led ferret art projects vary from clay ferrets, watercolor paintings, ceramics, keychains , mixed media and more! All ferret themed!
Come snuggle and play with our fun studio ferret mascots Slinky, Yo-yo, Kazoo, Lego or Fidget!
Ferrets love to play, but they love sleeping more! if sleeping during class, they can be snuggled still. We even have Snuggle aprons with pockets to keep your floof noodle close. (Ferrets smell yummy to us lol. They have a slight musk that has been described as smelling like Cheetos, Doritos, and even popcorn.)
We also have a NEW addition to the Hideaway room, the Faraway , which includes climbing, a slide, plus a glow in the dark mushroom forest! And of course we still have our DIGITAL playground!

We will be having a blast working on a variety of art activities, learning about artists and their specific styles and building on our own styles.
Throughout the schoolyear, will be focusing on clay, mixed media, painting, sculpting, needle felting, up cycling and a number of other art activities.
Students can gain increased ability for their own art during the open studio times in these class days.
Our Hideaway Room ensures students of all ages will have a great time hanging out between learning, making friends. Our ferret nursery is usually open on Wed with at least 2 fun ferrets to play with and snuggle.
Tweens love these classes, we have all ages, 5 and up til graduated.
Activity levels adjust with level of art ability.

We are welcoming our senior citizens at a discounted price to come sharpen their artistic skills and form new hobbies, while meeting others with alike interests. Seniors can come and paint or select an art style of choice using any media, such as clay, resin, jewelry, etc.
This is an OPEN STUDIO format specifically for our seniors, Ages 50 and up.
This is not a class, but open to each individuals own creativity and to use the space with Art Instructors on hand to assist as needed or introduce you to a new skill.
Some options to include but not limited to:
*Painting in acrylic or oils
*Drawing with soft or oil pastels, pencil, charcoal, ink, alcohol based art markers, etc
*Working in clay to create sculptures, clay options include oven baked polymer.
*Creating with mixed media such as relief cardboard sculptures, mixed metal crafts
*Metal embossing
*Needle felting
If you are NOT FIMILIAR with an activity but are interested, we can assist you to familiarize yourself with proper techniques to confidently create. We want this to be an enjoyable, relaxing experience.
Projects can be left at the studio to continue working on them as needed .

Artist and instructor, Elizabeth Schilling will guide you through this alcohol ink with FIRE geode coaster class, where you can make a set of 4 OR a single tile that is mounted as art on a wooden framed base.
We will use alcohol inks with MANY colors to choose from, torches to light them on fire, gold or silver oil paint and diamond glitter to create our one of a kind tile art on ceramic 4.5"tiles that will be sealed with gloss sealer and finished with felt backing. SO FUN!
We will discuss fire safety for creating at this event and NO CHILDREN allowed in this class.
