This Wed Camp is themed around Living in Color. We will be venturing toward using a lot of colors in our art for this camp, maybe even ones we normally wouldn't. We will be making "easy" style dreamcatchers in whichever colors a student chooses, using watercolor on fanned paper for paper "beads" at the bottom, huge pompoms, and sewing felt hearts by hand. We will teach some basic stitching . Dale Chihuly is a glass artist and students will learn a bit about him and view some of his art on the studio projector and will be creating our studio versions of some Chihuly "glass" that have become a hit. We will be sculpting in clay to create corral reefs. We will have printed papers showing examples of reefs and each sculpture will be different.

Students need to pack a lunch and water bottle.

We will be socially distancing, so kids sit every other seat at the studio and hand washing occurs often as well as sanitizing of tools, surfaces and hands. Masks are encouraged.

Seating is limited so get registered early.

Ages 5 til graduated. Activity levels change with level of art ability.
