HeartLocke Cooperative

Skip to available class list and schedule below or continue reading for more information.

On Mondays starting August 31st 2020 , you will find educational opportunities for students grades 6th grade and up in core and elective classes. These classes are an extension of the homeschool or online charter classes your student uses at home. The classes below can be used in addition to other classes your children are taking online or at other places, or as a sole curriculum if the homework is done each week.

HeartLocke instructors are either a veteran homeschool parent, a retired/ certified educator, or a work professional. Each has a passion or background in the coursework they teach. As a home educator, you choose which courses your child takes to satisfy their educational criteria for the school year. Rounding out their education with extracurricular classes in addition to core is a great way to help them grow areas they may have interests in. Other days of the week we offer art classes separately from this program.

Be sure to follow Oklahoma State education guidelines for graduation to ensure your high-schooler has the credits they need to graduate from your homeschool if they are not attending an online public school like Epic. You can document the classes on your high-schooler's transcript.

Links to the needed books are in the class descriptions. We have no affiliation nor do the books we are using have a christian content unless noted. If you wish to purchase the books elsewhere, you can. All classes are situated so many grades can attend together with a book range similar to "Grades 6-8" or "Grades 8+". Homework may be modified based on grade level.  Completion of the given assignments will create a more full curriculum for the year for each student attending.

COVID-19 announcements can be viewed HERE. Student supply list can be viewed HERE.
